CIP 220 is a hydroxyacetic acid-based cleaner which contains a proprietary blend of wetting and penetrating agents for safe and effective removal of a wide range of process residues from inorganic salts to particulate carbon. It is typically used in manual, immersion, and recirculating spray systems including clean-in-place systems. USDA listed under Category A3.
